Journal History

The Indonesian Journal of Teaching in Science (IJoTIS) was established in 2021 by Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia as a dissemination medium for research results from scientists, engineers, and educators across the fields of science and engineering education.

• 2021 - First issue published: Vol. 1 No. 1, March 2021.
• Registered with print ISSN 2776-6152 and online ISSN 2776-6101.
• Articles assigned Digital Object Identifiers under the Crossref prefix 10.17509.
• Nationally accredited at SINTA 3 by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia.
• 2026 - Migrated from Open Journal Systems 2 to Open Journal Systems 3.5 at ejournal-dppm.upi.edu/ijotis. Archived issues published before the migration remain available at the previous site.

Since its first issue, IJoTIS has published work by authors affiliated with institutions in numerous countries across Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Americas.
