ORCID iD Policy

IJoTIS strongly encourages all authors and co-authors to provide their ORCID iD (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) at the time of submission.

An ORCID iD is not currently required to submit a manuscript, but authors are welcome to register at orcid.org free of charge and add their iD to their submission metadata.

Why we encourage it:

• It distinguishes your work from that of other researchers with similar names.
• It links your IJoTIS publications to your other scholarly output automatically.
• It is increasingly required by funders, institutions, and other journals, so registering now saves time later.

This policy will be reviewed periodically; if ORCID iDs become mandatory in a future volume, authors will be notified via an Announcement in advance.
