Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi siswa SMA dalam perilaku pembelian kompulsif: perspektif psikologi

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku kompulsif pada siswa SMA dengan menggunakan perspektif psikologi. Perspektif psikologi dalam penelitian ini menggunakan variabel kontrol diri dan tiga konsep materialisme yakni materialisme kesuksesan, sentralitas dan kebahagiaan. Responden terdiri dari 333 siswa SMA yang tersebar pada lebih dari lima belas SMA negeri dan swasta di Jakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan semua hipotesis terbukti kecuali pada variabel materialisme kesuksesan. Dari hasil penelitian ini dibahas implikasi praktis bagi pemasar, konsumen, lingkungan dan pembentukan masyarakat yang etis.
